I love "good" music, from everywhere; I love it fused into melodies & rhythms played on any instrument that maintains the integrity of the piece of music as a whole. "Good writing" and "good playing", come across as honest because they were created without pretense. Soul music (but not the kind that is a "definition" of a type of music and the players that make it. Johnny Walker, lead guitar, Eternity's Children's is the real thing. We lost him in 2006. (Bruce didn't even know when he made his comment from 2008 re: JW has no computer, and claiming to have written Mrs. Bluebird, which Johnny Walker wrote according ASCAP. Bruce always took what he wanted, including $3,ooo. advertised in a trade paper as Unclaimed ROYALTIES, specifically in Johnny Walker's name, further copy saying: if your name's here, $ is waiting for you to pick up. When Johnny called and claimed his $3K, he was told Bruce claimed it on Johnny's behalf, Johnny never saw it. I hope this truth can come out. I'm Nance, Johnny Walker's widow now 10 yrs.(pen name "cece nan") and the influence he had on my life was profound. We also played music together. He was too good a man to have been treated with such disrespect. He'd been ill about 9 years when he died,of complications from pneumonia and the debilitation of diabetes. He died in my arms, and the last words I said to him (I hope they were heard)were: "You made my heart sing." He loved playing, and we loved to listen; oh yes, that's Johnny's angelic voice pulling those recorded harmonies together.
